I am proud to be operating The Womb Room, a activism center located just north of beautiful downtown Columbia on the top floor of an old house that operated as the Cherche La Femme Birth Center in the 1990's and is now the office of Dr. Elizabeth Allemann. The Womb Room is a cozy center that will allow mamas and their children to meet, gather, share stories, explore birth art, and help create a supportive tribe of women.
An extensive library of books covering conception, pregnancy, birth, and alternative children's books will be available to be checked out.
Sessions occur monthly including story telling, Root Children book and hand crafty, crafty mama gatherings, quarterly swaps, and much more!
Be sure to check the "giving tub" when you are visiting, lovingly donated good quality used items for babies, children, and mothers at no cost. Items are rotated on a bi-monthly basis.
The Womb Room is also available for Blessingway Services including use of space, facilitation, or blessingway products.
